“THEY ARE THERE FOR ME LIKE THE FAMILY I NEVER HAD AND LOVE ME UNCONDITIONALLY.”

“YOU CAN ALWAYS TALK TO
SOMEONE ABOUT ANYTHING."
“ THANK YOU FOR COMING INTO MY LIFE BECAUSE WHEN THINGS GET HARD AND I’M FALLING APART, I START REPLAYING EVERYTHING YOU’VE SAID.”
Child care is always free at Mother Matters Mentoring Circles and includes a kid-friendly dinner, age-appropriate educational activities, and loving care. Emily Wachter and her early intervention specialists and ExpERIEnce Children's Museum educators join our gifted volunteers to foster the development and imaginations of our pre-k and elementary-age kids. Our middle and high school youth gather with loving adults for gym time, dinner, and much-needed trust-based conversations with Youth for Christ.
“Moms Night Out” is shifting to more of a “girls night out” look and feel—hanging out, coffee and snacks, good clean fun, childcare, and transportation, if needed. These events will still be free and open to any Mom and her kids, but will only take place (for starters) four times a year. This new “Moms Night Out” model gives Moms a chance for respite and to socialize, while connecting with Erie City Moms’ community of mentors and leaders. We will launch these starting January 2026—watch for dates and locations on our Facebook and website!
