  • decreased domestic violence and child welfare escalations

Your gift of $310/ month changes lives today and generations to come. You’ll provide one family of three with a Mother Matters Mentoring Circle experience—including dinner, enriching children's programming, accessible resources from vetted educational and nonprofit partners, a trained mentor, and the facilities, trauma-informed staff, and practical family supports that make setting and achieving goals possible for women from all walks of life.

Last year, donors like you made possible 9 events—3 Moms Night Outs and 6 Mother Matters Mentoring Circles. Funding supported:

  • 1,650 free nutritious for Moms and kids 

  • $3,000 in costs related to crisis prevention, including rent, fresh groceries, health and hygiene items, auto repairs, child care for Moms' mental health appointments 

  • 50 Thanksgiving dinners, turkeys, holiday dinner vouchers, and shelf-stable food packages

  • 70 $100 grocery store gift cards

  • 600 Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers, and cold weather clothing and outerwear items for 108 kids

  • Christmas and Mother's Day gifts for 70 Mothers, including personalized cold weather gear, Erie City Moms merchandise, self-care items

  • You support the Home Ownership for Mothers in Erie (H.O.M.E.) program, where qualifying Moms can achieve true housing security and generational wealth. Through homeownership, Moms can leave behind dilapidated rentals, absentee landlords, and skyrocketing rent.
